In Episode 4 of the Low Times Podcast, our first guest is Alex Turner, singer for the Arctic Monkeys. They are one of the biggest bands in the world, and Alex rarely does interviews like this. We also spoke to Greg Cartwright of Reigning Sound, one of the greatest songwriters going. Lastly, we have Amy Klein, formerly of Titus Andronicus, and now Amy Klein and the Blue Star Band. She is a dynamic figure in the New York City music scene.  

Alex Turner is the singer and songwriter in the Arctic Monkeys. Daniel Ralston talked to him in Atlantic City about his childhood, his heroes and his writing process.

Greg Cartwright is the leader of Reigning Sound and formerly, the Oblivians. He spoke to Tom Scharpling in the basement of Maxwell’s in Hoboken New Jersey about everything from his earliest musical memories to his experience owning a record store.

Amy Klein was the guitarist/violinist in Titus Andronicus until recently. She talked to Maggie Serota about the harrowing job she left to join Titus, her decision to leave Titus and her new outfit, Amy Klein and the Blue Star Band.
