Tom Scharpling is the host of the wildly popular radio show The Best Show on WFMU and one half of the comedy duo of Scharpling & Wurster. He is also a writer/producer, having written and executive produced the Emmy Award-winning show Monk for the entirety of its eight-year run. He is currently developing a show for Comedy Central starring the Gregory Brothers and is a founding member of the sportswriting collective The Classical.
